This option defines whether a box or a cone filter is used to filter photons which generate a caustic. A cone filter will generally produce smoother and softer effects. The constant value can also be specified which changes the filter size. The defualt size given in XSI is 1. A larger value produces larger caustics and a more blurred effect. |
